McWane Ductile - New Jersey (MDJ) recently passed the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) audit. VPP recognizes employers and workers who have implemented exemplary safety and health management systems and maintain injury and illness rates below national Bureau of Labor Statistics averages for their respective industries.
The OSHA team was onsite for four days conducting the rigorous evaluation, including a full plant inspection, 20+ team member interviews and safety program reviews.
"The audit team was very complimentary of the entire team and their ongoing efforts to keep Safety as a top priority. This was truly a TEAM effort and success," Vice President and General Manager Keith Mallett said.
