The Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change and State Pollution Control Board jointly organized Swachhta Pakhwada (Clean Neighborhood) Celebrations in Coimbatore India from June 1st through 15th. Under this program, the organizing government agencies requested companies to conduct events to promote clean neighborhoods to students and the local community.
McWane India organized a cleaning camp on June 13 at nearby Gandhi Centenary Memorial School. Approximately 20 team members cleaned the entire school grounds and planted small trees around the school premises. The event was well organized and the school management team appreciated the effort.
